I'm a product designer with 20+ years shipping at scale — LinkedIn, PayPal, Procore, Yahoo! — and twice over as a founding designer building products from zero. I understand code, I've done the PM work when a team needed it, and I'm more comfortable in a Slack thread with engineers than in a design review with a dozen stakeholders.
I spent years leading design organizations. It was good work. But what I'm best at — and what I actually want to do — is get close to the product and build things that matter to real people. Early stage is where that happens.
On the 2024–2026 gap: I stepped back from full-time work to be a primary caregiver for my two young kids. During that time I kept building — Profreshly (an AI-powered resume tool for blue-collar workers), a full rescue of a local contractor's web presence, and a handful of other projects. I'm ready to be back full-time.
Experience
Senior Director, Product Design
Led 10+ designers on construction financials — budget, invoicing, payments, and contracts. Oversaw the Levelset acquisition integration and helped define what became Procore Pay.
